Multicultural Waterfest
The Multicultural Waterfest gives new Canadians the opportunity to try boating in a fun and safe environment. Over 300 people participated in our first Multicultural Waterfest. We hope that the obvious delight by those attending the event will turn into a lifelong nurturing relationship with our Harbour and its watershed.
In 2010, BARC held our first annual Multicultural Waterfest at the Bay Front Park boat slip with great help from Settlement and Integrations Services Organization. The event gave us the chance to showcase BARC’s commitment to give all people from our community, no matter what their background or culture, the chance to enjoy and appreciate our shared environment. BARC will be holding our Second Annual Multicultural Waterfest on September 18, 2011. The event will be held at 1pm-4pm at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club. For more information click here.
